Its so surreal that I am now in a different country, everything is so different; so beautiful!
I barely slept at all last night...jetleggg! bah. I fell asleep at about 930, woke up at 1:30 and was awake until like 6 before i could fall back asleep. Ill get use to it.
The differences here are crazy, and the language barrier is very difficult. The boys are a little afraid to talk to me in English because they are afraid of saying things wrong...so for now its "caitlin...come with me"...and even though i dont know german, its a little scary to talk english myself because i am unaware if they even understand me. German drink sparkling water (note to self, do not order water in a restaurant), Anja told me that this is what everybody like here...thank gaddd i can drink from the tap! The little place that im living in is a village, with homes so close together and everybody knows eachother (except me of course)...but it is soo pretty. Everything around here is atleast a 10-15minute drive on the autobahn and the closest towns biggest grocery store (anja told me that for most towns) is only the size of our farmboy. crazyyy.
Im headed to Austria tonight with thee family, a good 8-9hour car drive (joy) but I cant wait to see the beautiful mountains. this is going to be an experience of a life time.
As of right now, im really home sick. Its hard to hear my moms voice on the other end of the phone, but that will also get better with time (i hope). She told me that she walked in on Scott crying, and that was really hard to hear because he is not the type to cry...in front of people anyway.
